Naomi Sewell Richardson Park - Washingtonville, New York

The Naomi Sewell Richardson Park Foundation was established in 2023 to create the Naomi Sewell Richardson Park in Washingtonville, New York. The property was once owned by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Founder Naomi Sewell Richardson who spent years after graduating from Howard Unversity in the area as an eductor. Members of Mid-Hudson Valley Alumnae Chapter have been honored to represent the Sorority in the foundation's work and as supporters and volunteers. A permanent marker will be installed in the park in 2026.
