Educational Develompment
Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy
The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy is for girls ages 11-14 (6th-8th grades) and aims to offer young women leadership skills, community service opportunties, exposure to STEAM, academic enrichment, cultural awarness, money management skills and enrich their self-esteem. Delta GEMS Institute
Delta GEMS, targeted for young women in grades 9-12 aims to support their growth and developmen in the critical high school years. Delta GEMS aims to provide meaningful academic enrichment, mentorship, career exploration and personal development opportunities to high school girls across our service area.
Applications are accepted year around - just follow this link to join Mid-Hudson Delta GEMS. The group meets on 3rd Saturday at Baptist Temple Church of Newburgh.

Live Well
Our Live Well program includes activities and information related to all aspects of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. With occassional programs, collaborative activities and information campaigns, our program aims to support the wellbeing of our members and community.
Economic Development
Financial Fortitude
Expanding access to economic opportunities, information, and participation are the drivers of our Financial Fortitude programming. Financial Fortitude programs provide valuable educational opportunities to our youth programs participants, members and the community at large. To learn how Wall Street works, investment options to save for college, retirement or life, prepare to purchase a home or navigating as an entreprenuer are some topics that our programs address.
